Blower Motor: Service and Repair

Blower Motor Assembly:

BLOWER MOTOR UNIT

REMOVE
^ Move seats to rear most position.
^ Disconnect the battery negative lead.
^ Remove dash panel assembly.

Mounting Bolts:

^ Remove 2 nuts securing lower brackets to toeboard.
^ Manoeuvre blower unit from heater unit and remove.

Continue below to remove blower motor from blower motor unit

^ Release wiring harness retaining clip.
^ Remove 3 screws securing casing.
^ Remove blower motor assembly.

Blower Motor:

^ Remove fan retaining clip (5).
^ Remove fan (6).
^ Remove 2 screws (7) securing motor to casing.
^ Remove blower motor (8).

REFIT
^ Reverse removal procedure. Ensure seal between blower and heater unit is tight.
