OIL PAN REPLACE

Fig. 7 Oil Pan Bolt Tightening Sequence:

1. Raise and support vehicle, then drain engine oil.
2. Remove oil pan bolts.
3. Clean and degrease mating surfaces of pan, front cover and engine block.
4. Apply suitable silicone sealant to mating surface of oil pan.
5. Tighten to specification in sequence, Fig. 7.
