^ If defective, replace and dispose of the entire unit. Under no circumstances should a diagnosis be performed using electrically powered test equipment or probing devices.

^ Tampering or mishandling can result in personal injury. This air bag module cannot be repaired.


^ ROVER Bar code - The code number must be recorded if the air bag module is to be replaced.


^ The restraint module cannot be repaired. Use ROVER published diagnostic instructions to determine if the unit is defective. If defective, replace and dispose of the entire unit. ^ If a vehicle is to be scrapped and contains an undeployed airbag module, the module must be manually deployed. This operation should only be carried out using the recommended manual deployment procedure. Manual Deployment
