A kit has been developed to significantly reduce transfer box noise on Discovery's with an automatic transmission. This kit will go into production on or about November 7th, 1994. It is our intention to install this modification on all vehicles in port and dealer inventory. We think this is the best way to ensure Customer satisfaction.

Manual transmission Discovery vehicles will not be included in the action at this time. Components are being developed for manual vehicles, but will not be available until later this year.

We will supply at no charge, a kit of parts to be fitted to all 1995 Discoverys (automatic only) in your inventory. Please ensure that these vehicles are updated immediately. This kit is comprised of a revised control lever and shift knob along with all attaching parts needed for the modification.

Although the repair kit will be available in the future to repair customer's vehicles on a complaint basis, we kindly ask that you refrain from installing the kits initially being sent to you on vehicles already in customer's hands.

We will begin shipping kits to be fitted to all Discoverys in your inventory on November 15 and all parts should be received no later than November 25.
