Wheel Balancing Procedure - Steel Wheels

When using off-car dynamic wheel balancing equipment for Defender, please note the center hole in the wheel may not be concentric with the outer diameter of the wheel itself. It should not be used for locating the wheel/tire on the machine.

PROCEDURE





Use a wheel adaptor which is located in the five lug stud holes (see illustration). Maximum rim run-out with the wheel located in the stud hole adaptor is 0.060 (0.75 mm) Total Indicator Runout.
