VEHICLE CLOCK

A limited number of vehicles prior to VIN ...RA641451 may have been fitted with a clock that on and after initial start up runs counter clockwise. Clocks should be checked for this condition during the PDI or at anytime there is a customer complaint of losing time.

WORK PROCEDURE

Once it is established that the clock is running in reverse, the following procedure may be applied.

1. Remove one or both A/C vents on either side of the clock, ease the clock out from the dash.

2. Disconnect the purple power wire from its terminal on the back of the clock, flash the power wire 2-3 times in quick succession on its terminal on the clock, attaching it at the last contact. This should reactivate the clock to its correct rotation. Should this fail to occur after 2-3 attempts then the clock should be replaced.

3. Submit a Product Report for any clocks with the above mentioned problem after VIN ...RA641451
