ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION:
ESTER oil is NOT "PAG" oil. ESTER oil is available from HVAC supply companies. Verify oil is within shelf life and has been stored in a properly sealed container.

1. Fill compressor with specified amount of ESTER oil through drain/fill plug.

^ Range Rover - 150 ml (5 fl oz)
^ Defender 110 - 240 ml (8 fl oz)

NOTE:
Reseal ESTER oil container after use.

2. Install compressor onto vehicle.

3. Remove O-rings from service valves

4. Lubricate the new O-rings with ESTER oil and install O-rings on service valves.





5. Install service valves. (Figure 2)

6. Install new receiver-drier assembly.

7. Lubricate new A/C pipe O-rings with ESTER oil and install O-rings on connectors.





8. Connect A/C pipes to receiver-drier. (Figure 3)

CAUTION:
Ensure that adapters are installed on correct schrader valve.

9. Install 17 mm hex red-capped HS adapter to schrader port on HS service valve.
Install 15 mm hex blue-capped LS adapter to schrader port on LS service valve.
