Procedure II Brake Line Bracket Installation/Work Procedure

WORK PROCEDURE
1. Using illustration # 1, locate area for bracket installation and remove any dirt, mud or debris.
2. Place template, dot-side facing you, as indicated in illustration's # 1 and # 2.*
3. Using the drill with stop provided, drill 2 holes through floor- dress holes with a tapered punch. WEAR EYE PROTECTION.
NOTE:
Failure to use the drill stop will damage vehicle carpet/under pad.
4. Pop-rivet bracket to floor.
5. Install pipe clip to bracket and clip brake line in place.
6. Spray bracket and surrounding area with anti-corrosion wax provided in the kit.
7. Complete and install a Service Campaign label on the driver's door jamb above the manufacturer's label. For long term durability, place a clear plastic square over the label.
8. Record completion of the campaign on page 37 of the Passport to Service.
* Do not use paper template enclosed with clip kit.
