Pre-Inspection

NOTICE:
- Measure the backlash after assembly.
- Do not remove the bearing inner race if not necessary.
- Before disassembly, inspect the backlash of side gear and pinion.

Measure the backlash by using the following procedure:
1. Install the left driveshaft and joint shaft in the differential assembly.





2. Support the driveshafts on V-blocks.
3. Measure the backlash of both pinion gears.

Backlash: 0 - 0.001 inch (0 - 0.03 mm)
