Pressure Plate: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION
1. Inspect the contact surface of the pressure plate for scoring cracks, and burning. Resurface or replace as necessary.
2. Inspect the release bearing contact surface (on the diaphragm spring fingers) for wear and cracks. If there is wear or cracks, replace the clutch cover.
