Power Steering






REMOVAL
1. Loosen the wheel lug nuts.
2. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
3. Remove the wheels.
4. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
5. If necessary, replace steering gear and linkage entirely; do not disassemble.

NOTICE:
- Use a container or rags to catch the power steering fluid when disconnecting the high pressure line and/or the return line.
- Lower the steering rack and linkage as an assembly; then separate the steering rack from the linkage, if necessary.

INSTALLATION
1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
2. After installation, bleed air from the steering system and adjust the toe-in, if necessary.
