Pedal Height

1. Verify that the clearance from the floor to the center of the pedal pad is as specified when the pedal is pressed with a force of about 132 lbs. (65 Kg).
- Pedal-to-floor clearance (Min.): 2.75 inches (70.0 mm)
2. If the clearance is less than required, check for the following problems:
a. Air in the brake system.
b. Malfunctioning automatic adjuster (rear brake drums).
c. Excessively worn shoes or pads.
