Boot - Headlamp Bulb

CAUTION: Do not contaminate the bulb glass by touching it with your fingers or by allowing it to contact other oily surfaces. Shortened bulb life will result.

REMOVAL




1. Remove the front lamp unit from the front of the vehicle.
2. Remove the low or high beam headlamp bulb from the front lamp unit housing.
3. Pull the outer circumference of the low beam boot (3) or high beam boot (1) up and away as necessary to disengage it from the boot collar formation on the back of the lamp housing.
4. Pull the inner circumference of the low beam boot or high beam boot up and away as necessary to disengage it from the bulb collar formation on the back of the lamp reflector.
5. Remove the boot from the back of the front lamp.

INSTALLATION




1. Position the low beam boot (3) or high beam boot (1) to the back of the front lamp unit housing.
2. Push the inner circumference of the low beam boot or high beam boot down and around the bulb collar formation on the back of the lamp reflector as necessary to fully engage the boot to the reflector.
3. Push the outer circumference of the low beam boot or high beam boot down and around the boot collar formation on the back of the lamp housing as necessary to fully engage the boot to the housing.
4. Reinstall the low or high beam headlamp bulb into the front lamp.
5. Reinstall the front lamp unit onto the front of the vehicle.
