Starter Control Circuit Tests Notes

The starter control circuit consists of a starter solenoid, starter relay, ignition switch and clutch pedal interlock switch (manual transmission) or safety neutral switch (automatic transmission).

Testing procedures for these components should be followed in order as described below.
