Service Port HVAC: Locations

Two Schrader-Type gauge ports are used with the refrigerant system:

- The High Pressure Service Gauge Port is located on the compressor manifold.
- The Low Pressure Service Gauge Port is located on the condenser-to-evaporator refrigerant line near the back of the engine compartment.

The service port to charge the air conditioning system is located on the condenser-to-evaporator tube near the cowl panel. New service port couplers have been used to ensure that the system is not accidentally filled with the wrong [R-12] refrigerant. After servicing the refrigerant system, install cap on service gauge port.
