General Service Precautions

Observe the following safety precautions when servicing the anti-lock brake system.

1. Wear safety glasses when disconnecting fluid lines.
2. Do not puncture or attempt to disassemble the accumulator tank or the booster pump.
3. Keep ABS system components clean. Do not allow dirt or other foreign matter to enter the system.
4. Clean reservoir and cap thoroughly prior to removing the cap for filling or fluid level inspection.
5. Never reuse fluid collected during bleeding procedures.
