Pistons are marked with an arrow on the top perimeter. When assembling piston to rod, ensure arrow faces front of engine and oil spurt hole on connecting rod faces toward camshaft, as shown in Fig.15. Check side clearance between connecting rod and crankshaft journal.
Clearance should be 0.010 to 0.019 inch.
