Rear
1. On models with single connector, proceed as follows:a. Raise and fold rear seat forward for access to rear sensor connectors.
b. Disconnect sensor at rear harness connector.
c. Push sensor grommets and sensor wire through floorpan.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Disconnect sensor wires at rear axle connectors.
4. Remove wheel and brake drum.
5. Remove clips securing sensor wire to brake and hoses lines or rear axle.
6. Unseat sensor support plate grommet and remove sensor bolt, bracket and sensor assembly.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Apply Loctite Lock N' Seal No. 242 or equivalent to bolt that attaches sensor to steering knuckle.

b. If original sensor is used, adjust air gap to 0.036-0.057 inch with brass feeler gauge. Torque sensor bolt to 11 ft. lbs.
c. If a new sensor is installed, push cardboard spacer on sensor face onto tone ring and torque sensor bolt to 6 ft. lbs.
