Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Service and Repair

1. Remove air cleaner, hose and pipe assembly.
2. Drain master cylinder reservoir into a suitable container using reservoir hose.
3. Disconnect pump motor and solenoid harness wires at Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU).
4. Tag HCU hydraulic line positions for assembly reference.
5. Disconnect hydraulic lines at HCU.

6. Remove HCU mounting nuts and bolts.
7. Remove HCU by lifting HCU up off studs then working HCU past brake lines and master cylinder.
8. Reverse procedure to install, then bleed system and check for leaks.
