Overhead Console

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.

2. Remove the mounting screw, forward of the compass unit.
3. Flex the console housing outward, while pressing upward to disengage the housing from the rear mounting bracket.
4. Slide the console rearward, until the console detaches from the front mounting bracket.

5. While pressing up on the rear of the console, slide the console forward holding the front away from the headliner.
Move the console forward until the rear detaches from the headliner, and becomes free.

Overhead Console Wire Harness:

Remote Keyless Entry Harness Connector:

6. Disconnect the wire harness connectors from the remote keyless entry and compass modules as shown.
7. Reverse the removal procedures to install.
Be sure to flex the console housing outward near the remote keyless entry module until the console snaps onto the rear mounting bracket.
