Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove lower instrument panel.
3. Remove instrument panel retaining screws and move shroud toward steering wheel.
4. Apply upward pressure to the shroud and downward pressure to indicator panel to release retaining tabs.
5. Remove shroud from instrument panel and support A/C evaporator housing.
6. Remove A/C evaporator housing-to-instrument panel screws, then housing support bracket screw. Remove support and lower A/C evaporator housing.
7. Disconnect turn signal switch wire harness, then tape switch actuator rod to steering column.
8. Remove turn signal switch screws and detach from rod.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
