Lack of Power

SYMPTOM DESCRIPTION:
This condition occurs when; engine delivers less than expected power. little or no increase in speed, when the accelerator is depressed.


POSSIBLE CAUSE ACTION


Voltage Output ^ Check for proper secondary output voltage with spark tester.


Spark plugs ^ See, Spark Plug Condition Diagnosis Testing and Inspection


Ignition Timing ^ Check distributor indexing.


PCM ^ Check for fault codes and proper ignition grounds.
