Battery Precautions

WHEN SERVICING BATTERIES OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS:
^ Be sure battery is properly connected before attempting to start engine.

^ Avoid creating sparks near battery. Batteries produce explosive gas (hydrogen) and contain acid.

^ Never disconnect battery when engine is running.

^ Always be sure battery cables are disconnected before charging battery.

^ Never attempt to start engine or charge battery using a booster/starter with a voltage rating above 12 volts.
