Kickdown, Front

The kickdown band adjusting screw is located on the left side of the transmission case near the throttle lever shaft.

1. Loosen locknut and back off approximately five turns. Check adjusting screw for free turning in transmission case.
2. Using an inch-pound torque wrench, tighten band adjusting screw to specifications.
3. Back off adjusting screw 2 1/2 turns.
4. Hold adjusting screw in this position and tighten locknut to specifications.
