Brake System Warning Lamp Test

1. Turn ignition switch to Run position. Apply parking brake and disconnect brake warning switch connector.
2. Install a jumper between brake warning switch connector terminal B and ground. If lamp illuminates and bulb is satisfactory, repair open to indicator.
3. Turn ignition switch to Off position.
4. Measure resistance between brake warning switch connector terminal A and ground.
5. If measurement reads zero ohms, check switch and/or brake system.
6. If measurement does not read zero ohms, repair open to park brake switch ground.
