Application

This model uses the NP-207 transfer case. The NP207 is a part-time, four wheel drive transfer case with three operating ranges plus a Neutral position. A built in low range gear system provides a 2.6:1 reduction ratio for increased low speed torque capability. The three transfer case operating ranges are: Two-wheel drive high, four-wheel drive high and four-wheel drive low. Operating range is selected with a floor mounted shift lever. A front axle disconnect mechanism is used for two-wheel drive operation.
