DEALER SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS

EMISSIONS RECALL # 276T -- CATALYTIC CONVERTER


^ This service action applies only to 1986 Model Year Jeep Comanche, Cherokee and Wagoneer vehicles equipped with a 2.5L engine, (Federal and California emissions systems).


Exception: Vehicles which have previously been equipped with a service installed catalytic converter after November, 1986 are excluded from the recall.


^ The recall service requires replacement of the catalytic converter and a heating system vacuum hose.


^ Parts are being distributed to dealers at dealer cost. Add the parts cost and applicable dealer allowance to your claim.


^ For vehicles registered in California, a recall completion label must be affixed near the Vehicle Emission Control Information label.
