Side Cover: Service and Repair

1. Remove intake manifold as described under Intake Manifold, Replace.
2. Remove pushrod cover attaching bolts and pushrod cover.
3. Reverse procedure to install. Ensure pushrod cover and cylinder block sealing surfaces are thoroughly cleaned. Apply a 3/16 inch bead of RTV sealer to pushrod cover at cover to cylinder block sealing surface. Torque pushrod cover attaching bolts to 75 inch lbs.
