: THROTTLE CONTROL POSITION ERROR. P1224.

G92396t1 : CHECK THROTTLE CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR CONTINUITY
1. Disconnect throttle motor electrical connector EN10.
2. Disconnect ECM electrical connector EN16.
3. Measure the resistance between ECM electrical connector EN16 pin 80 (G) and throttle motor electrical connector EN10 pin 2 (G).

- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

-> Yes

-> No
REPAIR the circuit between ECM electrical connector EN16 pin 80 (G) and throttle motor electrical connector EN10 pin 2 (G). CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

G92396t2 : CHECK THROTTLE CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR CONTINUITY
1. Measure the resistance between ECM electrical connector EN16 pin 106 (R) and throttle motor electrical connector EN10 pin 1 (R).

- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

-> Yes
INSTALL a new ECM. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

-> No
REPAIR the circuit between ECM electrical connector EN16 pin 106 (R) and throttle motor electrical connector EN10 pin 1 (R). CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.
