Shift Solenoid: Service and Repair

Removal

1. Remove the main control valve body.





2. Disconnect the electrical connector.





3. Remove the shift solenoid.

Installation





1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Lubricate the shift solenoid O-ring seal.

NOTE: Lubricate the shift solenoid O-ring seal with automatic transmission fluid WSS-M2C922-A1 or equivalent meeting Jaguar specification.





2. Tighten to 8 Nm.

3. Install the main control valve body.
