A/C System Inoperative - Reprogram ECM - Service Action S931

Remove and destroy Bulletin XT412-S931 dated 11/02. Replace with this Bulletin.

This Service Action is superseded by S937.

Issue:

A revised software level was introduced in production on 2003 MY X-TYPE vehicles from VIN C86115. This software level has created a situation where the air conditioning system will not operate if certain vehicle operating conditions have not been met. New ECM software that addresses this concern is now available.
