Test B: C1095

B: C1095-Pump motor failure

B1: CHECK CONDITION OF FUSE
1. Check 30A fuse located in underbonnet fuse box, fuse 18.
^ Is the fuse OK?

-> Yes
Go to [B2]

-> No
Replace fuse.

B2: MEASURE CONNECTOR RESISTANCE
1. Measure the resistance between pins 1 and 2 of fly lead going to ABS pump.
^ Is the resistance less than 20 ohms?

-> Yes
Go to [B3]

-> No
Replace HCU.

B3: MEASURE CONNECTOR VOLTAGE
1. Disconnect connector LF037. Measure the voltage between pins 9 and 24.
^ Is the voltage approximately 12 volts?

-> Yes
Replace HCU.

-> No
Go to [B4]

B4: INSPECT HARNESS/CONNECTORS
1. Inspect harness/connectors from ABS module to fusebox for damage / corrosion, bent / pushed back pins.
^ Is damage found?

-> Yes
Repair as necessary.

-> No
Replace HCU.
