Transmission Cooler: Testing and Inspection
Inspection and Verification
1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.

3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
4. If the concern is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to the Symptom chart.

^ Connections to the automatic transmission and the automatic transmission fluid cooler.
Action(s) to take:
^ Check the torque of the tubes, if correct, check the tubes and connections.
Condition(s): Loss of the automatic transmission fluid.
Possible Source(s):
^ Leak at oil cooler.
Action(s) to take:
^ INSTALL new oil cooler.
