IGNITION CONTROL

The PDU takes control of all ignition switch positions, apart from Engine Start, at the beginning of a diagnostic session. The ignition key must remain in the ignition barrel, unless a specific instruction is given by the PDU to remove it. This feature is not available for datalogger sessions. Unplugging the MPA from the vehicle's diagnostic connector immediately restores the ignition switch to normal, manual control.

VEHICLE DATA VIEWER

The PIN/WIRE graphics on information screens have been enhanced by placing a hotspot box around all male pins. This innovation is intended to make it easier to identify male pins.
