KEY POINTS: BRAKE UPDATES
1990 M.Y. XJ-S vehicles incorporate Teves Anti-Lock brakes with the following system changes:
A bundy pipe is now used as the feed from the motor pump to the hydraulic actuator (replacing the hose assembly used on 1989 M.Y. vehicles).
NOTE: When performing a power hydraulic system diagnostic test, a hose (to be issued shortly as a special tool) must be installed.
The brake warning light sequence has been revised. When brake system pressure recharges from a low pressure condition, the brake light now turns off before the anti-lock light.
