Low Pressure Hose
Discharge the hydraulic accumulator by operating the brake pedal approximately 20 times, until the pedal goes hard.REMOVE
1. Open the bonnet. Place suitable absorbent material around the hose area to catch any fluid.
2. Remove the low pressure hose to pump securing clip.
3. Remove the hose, and discard the O-ring.
4. Route the hose into a container and drain the fluid.
5. Remove the brake fluid reservoir.
6. Disconnect and discard the low pressure hose from the reservoir.
REFIT
1. Fit the new hose.
2. Refit the reservoir.
3. Fit the elbow to the new hose and fit a new O-ring.
4. Connect the elbow to the pump, fit the clip.
5. Bleed the ABS hydraulic system.
6. Switch ignition ON.
Reservoir Fluid Level:
7. When the accumulator is charged to the upper cut-out point, top up the reservoir to the maximum level.
8. Fit and tighten the filler cap.
