Fuel Injector Resistor: Description and Operation

Power Resistor:

PURPOSE
By limiting current to a safe level, power resistors protect ECU injector output transistors from possible damage due to injector malfunction.

CONSTRUCTION
Resistors are manufactured as a unit with one resistor wired in series with each three injectors.

LOCATION
In engine compartment right front corner.
