Test Note 6 Thru 9

Test Note 6:

To clear the 'anti-lock failure' display on the VCM (which alternates with 'brake failure'/low brake pressure), run engine to 3000 RPM immediately after starting engine.

Test Note 7:

To remove the booster unit adaptor, the following procedure should be used:

A. Switch off engine.

B. Pump brake pedal until high pedal resistance is felt.

C. Remove the pipe and gauge assembly from the booster unit.

D. Remove booster unit adaptor.

E. Reconnect the power hydraulic pipe to the booster unit.

Test Note 8:

For strut bleeding procedure, refer to Technical Service Bulletin section 64, number 2.

Test Note 9:

To install the ride levelling strut adaptor, the following procedure should be used:

^ Remove the ride levelling bleed screw.





^ Install right-angled adaptor (05/1) and two sealing washers (one washer to either side of the adaptor), Fig. 3.

^ Install and tighten the adaptor bolt.

^ Install and tighten the test point (05) and seal washer to the right angled adaptor.
