Radiator - Oil Cooler Fitting Damage - Prevent Damage with Backing Wrench

ISSUE:


Radiators can be damaged by incorrect removal and installation procedure.

ACTION:

When loosening or tightening the oil cooler lines at the radiator, use a 5/8" open end wrench to support the hexagonal connector tube on the radiator to prevent the tube from twisting.


Tightening Torque Specification:

Oil Cooler Line on Radiator: 15-17 N-m, (11-12.5 ft.lbs.).
