1. Remove rear mounting plate, then the pump pulley.
2. Noting position and relative sizes of spacers, remove front mounting plate.
3. Thoroughly clean exterior of pump.
4. Remove high pressure outlet union and mounting plate studs (1), Fig. 14.
5. Tilt pump to one side to remove flow control valve and spring (2).
6. Place spindle body in a vise and carefully tap pump casing from body (3).
7. Remove three O-rings from ports in pump body. Remove magnet on pump body flange (1). Fig. 15.
8. Insert pin punch into pump body and push retaining ring (2) free from its groove. Remove from retaining ring from body. Fig. 15.
9. Remove retaining plate (3). If plate sticks, lightly tap with mallet.
10. Remove spring (4), then the top O-ring from recess in pump body. Remove key from rotor shaft.
11. Gently tap roller spindle (2) towards pump body and carefully remove pump assembly from body. Fig. 16.
12. Remove lower O-ring from recess in pump body (3).
13. If pump dowel pins remain in body, remove pins (4). Remove rotor housing top plate from pump assembly (5). Fig. 16.
14. Remove rotor housing (6), rotor vanes (7) and circlip securing rotor to driveshaft (8).
15. Remove driveshaft oil seal from pump body (9).
