Oil Cooler: Service and Repair

- Drain the engine oil.
- Remove the splash panel securing screws.

Oil Cooler Connections:

- Disconnect the feed (2).

Oil Cooler Connections:

- Disconnect return pipe unions (2).

NOTE: Two spanners, one on the oil cooler union the other on the hose union, must be used.

- Remove the oil cooler securing bolts.
- Withdraw the oil cooler clear. Note the position and number of packing pieces.
- Plug all broken connections to prevent dirt ingress.
- Fit the replacement oil cooler, ensuring the packing pieces are correctly located.
- Fit and tighten the securing bolts.
- Reconnect the feed and return pipe unions.
- Refit the lower splash panel.
- Refit the sump drain plug, using a new washer and refill the engine with clean oil.
