Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

Fig. 4 Charcoal canister removal.:

1. Place vehicle on suitable supports. Remove right front road wheel.
2. Disconnect hoses (2) from canister (4). Note location of hose to container mounting, Fig. 4.
3. Remove mounting strap nut (3), and lift canister from vehicle.
4. Install in reverse order of removal, aligning canister in mount, and returning hoses to their proper fittings.
