SUBJECT: CHANGES FOR 1984 XJ6 & VANDEN PLAS
MODEL:
The following changes have been made to 1984 XJ6 and Vanden Plas vehicles:
^ Tire Specification - 215/70 VR 15, Pirelli P5
^ Quartz Halogen Headlights - 5001 Inner, 5006 Outer
^ Ignition Timing - 17~ BTDC at 800 rpm.
^ High altitude compensation switch, DAC 3502, fitted on ECU. With increasing altitude, switch makes contact at 4,000 feet. With decreasing altitude, switch breaks at 3,700 ft.
^ Modified Fuel Rail, EAC-5350
^ Righthand Outside Mirror has convex lens with driver warning legend.
^ New windshield wiper system as described in Technical Service Bulletin J83/41, August-1983.
