SUBJECT: BODY SILL DRAIN HOLES
MODEL: XJ6 & VANDEN PLAS
XJ6 and Vanden Plas models have four body sill drain holes on each side of the vehicle.
To avoid excessive water ingress from front wheel splash, the two forward holes on each side will be plugged beginning with VIN 362000. The two remaining drain holes are more than adequate to handle normal drain. It is, of course, important that the drain holes be checked for clearance at the yearly check as part of the Perforation-Rust warranty inspection.
