SUBJECT: FUEL RAIL HOSE CLIP TIGHTENING
MODEL: XJ-S HE
The recommended hose clip torque has been increased from 10 in.lbs. to 17-21 in.lbs., as detailed in Jaguar Cars Inc. mailgram to all dealers dated May 22, 1984.
Please ensure that any XJ-S model that previously had A285 implemented has the hose clips retorqued to 17-21 in.lbs. when next in your Service department. These specifications also apply to all new models.
Please bring this information to the attention of all concerned personnel.
