XJS V12 MODELS EQUIPPED WITH EVAPORATIVE LOSS CONTROL (ELC)

VIN RANGE 105338 - 117338

Vehicles within the above VIN range are equipped with an in-line solenoid purge valve located between the charcoal canister and engine.

It is possible that a small number of these vehicles have been modified with anti-stall modification kit JLM 832 as a result of TSB J86/35 and have a vacuum purge valve, a delay valve and a vacuum reservoir fitted in place of the in-line solenoid purge valve. These items and associated hoses are not required when installing purge kit JLM 10557 and should be discarded.
