Drive the car on to a ramp. Raise the ramp. Slacken off the clamp (1 Fig 1) securing the RH rear intermediate pipe to the RH silencer. Displace the clamp and pipe (2 Fig 1).

Slacken off the clamp (3 Fig 3) securing the RH intermediate pipe (2 Fig 3) to the RH silencer. Displace and remove the silencer (1 Fig 3).

Smear the new silencer and intermediate pipe unions with sealant. Fit the silencer to the intermediate pipe. Smear the silencer and rear intermediate pipe unions with sealant. Fit the silencer to the rear intermediate pipe.

Fit and tighten the clamps. Lower the ramp.
