Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

1. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
2. Disconnect ground cable terminals from common chamber.
3. Mark vacuum lines for installation reference, then disconnect vacuum lines from common chamber.
4. Remove throttle valve assembly from common chamber.
5. Disconnect EGR valve, then remove EGR and bracket.
6. Remove alternator harness retaining clip.
7. Remove common chamber retaining bolts and nuts, then chamber assembly.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
9. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
