Brake Pedal Assy: Adjustments

Measure the brake pedal height after making sure the pedal is fully released by the pedal return spring. Measure pedal height as shown in Fig. 5, dimension ``L.'' Measurement should be 6.22 inches. If measurement is not as specified, proceed as follows:
1. Loosen the stop lamp switch.
2. Loosen locknut on the pushrod.
3. Adjust the pushrod to the specified pedal height.
4. Tighten locknut.
