Multi-Point Fuel Injection (Turbo Only)

Fig. 233 ECM Cover Removal:

1. Remove negative battery cable.
2. Locate the ECM and remove the access cover, Fig. 233.

Fig. 231 MEM-CAL Removal:

3. Using two fingers, push both retaining clips back at the same time Fig. 231.
4. Grasp the MEM-CAL firmly and lift out.

Fig. 232 MEM-CAL Replacement:

5. Check to see that the alignment of the new MEM-CAL is correct in the socket.
6. Pressing only on the ends of the MEM-CAL, Fig. 232, push until the new unit snaps into place. Do not press on the middle of the MEM-CAL unit.
7. Install the ECM and reconnect the battery cable.
